Today, we are celebrating Djangonaut Space birthday 🎉
Happy birthday, Djangonaut Space! Thank you to the Djangonauts, the Navigators, the Captains, the Session Organizers, the Astronomers, the Advisors, and, above all, the sponsors, Admins, and Founders. This project began as an idea that came to life and has even exceeded all our expectations. 🚀
It’s been three years since this journey began. So much has happened; you can learn more by reading the latest community report, which has just been published.
We’ve organized numerous sessions with large turnouts, and some of us still wonder what became of the participants after the session. What have they been up to?
As an advisor, I follow up with djangonauts as much as possible and offer them advice and suggestions for the future. It’s always wonderful to see how much people have grown since the program began and beyond.
This is by no means an exhaustive list, but a lot of them are still involved in the Django or Python community in different ways. Rather than trying to name everyone and inevitably missing someone, I want to highlight the variety of roles and regions represented:
